Naval Architecture & Ship Design
TD Naval Architect services including new vessel designs and existing vessel conversion and modification project work.
TD Naval Architect experienced to work with client to define the purpose and specification of the vessel, such as size, cargo capacity, speed, and operational conditions then create initial sketches and models to capture the client's vision. TD Naval Architect provides detailed engineering solutions across all aspects of the ship's structure and system, including hull form optimization, stability, sea-keeping, resistance and propulsion, and structure integrity. Using advanced software such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) , we fine-tune each design for the maximum efficiency, durability so that the vessel's design is seaworthy and capable of withstanding various marine environments. |
Marine Surveyors

TD Naval Architect is accredited by Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) so TD is a professional responsible for inspect, assessing, calculating check and approving design plans for vessel before building and for Intact and Damage Stability of Domestic Commercial Vessels (DCVs) to ensure ship designs adhere to stringent safety, environmental, and regulatory standards, forming the foundation for the successful and safe operation of marine vessels.
Ship Structure & Finite Element Analysis
|

TD Naval Architect technical capabilities include ship structure and finite element analysis methods to assess various factors impacting the vessel and structure in different design conditions. Our methods of calculation and analysis ensure that hull structure can withstand various loads while ensuring safety, durability, and performance and also support the operational functions of the vessel, including its buoyancy, stability, and resistance to environmental forces.
All calculation and analysis method from TD Naval Architect comply with the rules and guidelines provided by classification societies such as ABS, Lloyd's, DNV,..

Intact and Damage Stability

TD Naval Architect conducts intact and damage stability computations on a wide variety of vessels to remain stable and upright under normal condition ( intact stability) when displaced by external forces, such as wind, waves, or cargo shifts, and ship's ability to remain afloat and stable after sustaining damage, such as hull breaches or flooding.
Our technical reports are in compliance with IMO, SOLAS, SPS Code, MODU Code, along with various classification society requirements. Our technical expertise include inclining experiments, as well as production of all stability documents, including trim and stability booklets, loading manuals, damage control plans and information booklets.

3D Modeling and Shop Detailing

TD Naval Architect has intensive experiences to produce 3D modeling involves creating a virtual presentation of the ship, capturing every detail of its structure, systems, and components which help engineers , and shipbuilder visualize and simulate the vessel's design before construction begin.
TD Naval Architect also provides shop detailing which provides the dimensions, material specifications, welding details, and other critical information necessary for fabricating individual ship components.

Motion and Mooring Analysis

TD Naval Architect has expertise using various analysis methods and software to determine the hydrodynamics, motions and structural responses of stationary structures and vessels to regular and irregular waves to ensure the safety, performance, and stability of ships and offshore structures in response to environmental forces such as wind, wave, and currents. Our analysis help to predict the dynamic behavior of vessels and ensure that they remain securely moored in various sea conditions.
Our project experience includes semi-submersibles, super-heavy lift multipurpose offshore vessels, pipe and cable-lay vessels and related operations, mooring and buoy-based systems.
